The Zoe Lace Poncho is an off the shoulder poncho with a pattern of criss-crossing lacework. The piece can be worn several ways; off the shoulder poncho, one-shouldered over shirt, pointed cowl, snuggly round cowl, and closed shawl. It is knit from top down, partially worked flat and partially worked in the round, and has off-center points. The bottom and neckline edgings are i-cord knitted on edges.

There are two sizes, which are more about the amount of drapiness you like rather than fit. Both sizes will fit most people but size Large may provide a better end product for those who are tall or fuller figured. The pattern is available as full written instructions (pages 1-9) and complete printable charts (pages 10-18).

Sizes: Small: shorter sides 29”(74 cm), longer sides 35” (89 cm), diagonal at neckline 47” (119 cm) Large: shorter sides 37”(94 cm), longer sides 43” (109 cm), diagonal at neckline 58” (147 cm)

I loved the challenge of this pattern. Definitely one for the more advanced knitter. If you be sure to count at the completion of each row and you find that the stitch count is off, it will be a yarn over that was missed. Just mark it, and pick up a bar from last row on the return. The yarn was fun and the pattern more so. I love a challenge. Gets the mind going! My daughter loves her Poncho.
