The Voss sweater is a two color Norwegian ski sweater. Stranded colorwork sweaters emerged in Norway in the mid 1800s, and this particular design was inspired by a headscarf belonging to a Norwegian immigrant. The Voss sweater features a bold chevron pattern across the torso. There are also several snowflake designs intermittently scattered across the sweater. This sweater is entirely charted and you cut steeks for the arm and neck openings. There is a very good tutorial which explains how to secure the steeks. Shown in Fedora, Camel Heather, and Currant Wool of the Andes.
Needles: Size 5 DPNs and 16" & 24" circs
