Knit into the back of your stitches to produce highly textured cables and ribbing, like in these Traveling Stitch Socks. There are Bavarian twisted cables and columns of ribbing with simple yarn over lace in between. Despite all of this texture, these socks will be really comfortable inside of shoes because the stitch patterns aren’t bumpy. Twisted stitches just have excellent stitch definition! Wear these socks and your knitting will be noticed! Shown in Tidepool Heather Stroll.
Needles: Size 3 (3.25mm) DPNs & straights; Size 1 1/2 (2.5mm) (or 3 sizes smaller than larger needles)
