Talk to the Paw Mitts are a whimsical but practical take on feline knitwear. Fingerless mitts keep your fingers free, while turning up the mitt top keeps your fingers toasty and puts that cute face front and center on your fingers!

The Talk to the Paw Mitts are worked in the round from the cuff, forming a gusset for the thumb. After working the thumb, stitches are picked up along the back to work the convertible top. Simple embellishment is worked on the top to finish.

There are quirks to the pattern, where you have to really think about how to connect the mitt top to do what you need it to do, but besides that, I found the pattern very easy to follow with good explanation. I followed the pattern with some variations, and it turned out just like the picture. I used the camel Heather yarn, as requested by the friend these will be given to. I would highly recommend this pattern!! I would describe myself as a beginning knitter, and this was my first time using double pointed needles to knit. Great pattern and wonderful finished mittens!!
