- Description
- Need Needles?
Much easier than it may look - this mitts pattern has a lot going on to keep a knitter interested: 2 different working directions, faux cables, and more... but with stitch markers to help keep track of everything, it's really not much harder than knitting with lots of increases and decreases, and will leave you with some classic but totally unique, fitted and comfy fingerless mitts! The garter stitch cuff is worked flat, using a sideways edge cast-on to create stitches across the top of the cuff, which then become the hand cast-on stitches when joined around. Step-by-step photos are included in the pdf to help out, as well as links to other techniques used (like a provisional cast-on and a few different kinds of bind-off).
