Directions for this project in Wrap Style. This triangular shawl proves that the simple beauty of traditional Shetland lace patterns never go out of style. This classic fir cone lace pattern is knit from the top down (from the wide edge to the tip) and is finished with a simple horizontal edging. Since the edging can be started at the end of any 10-row lace repeat, you can easily work a larger shawl by adding more pattern repeats. Shown in 50% Merino wool, 25% Superfine alpaca, 25% nylon fingering weight Bare. A good substitution would be Gloss.
