This sweater is inspired by the sweaters hand-knit by the Cowichan Indians in North America. Their use of bold designs and simple color schemes are always in style. The shawl collar reflects the influence of Scottish settlers on the tribe, and the motifs are indicative of the native wildlife and art style of the region. With updated lines and simplified geometric patterns, this sweater pays homage to the artistry of the Cowichan people and fits with today’s styling.
