I began designing these socks even though I had
several other projects that needed attention. I said
to myself, “Hey! No problem! I can cast on yet
another sock. I don't have that many other projects.
Socks are quick. Why spend time worrying about
knits unfinished?” In other words, I was looking at
my knitting basket through rose colored glasses.
Do you ever do that?
This top down pattern features a main lace panel, traveling stitches that begin in the ribbing and continue into the heel flap, and eyelet columns. It's just enough challenge to keep an intermediate sock knitter on their toes or an experienced one entertained, without be too overwhelming. The pattern is written for three sizes with separate charts for the small size and medium/large sizes.
