Directions for this project in Simply Shetland 4 at Tomales Bay. The Ramona sweater combines classic elegance with clean comfort. Dress it up at the office or slip it on for a snuggly, sunlit day indoors. The design focuses on clean, form-fitting lines and comfortable sophistication. The pullover is worked from the top down with cast-on edge beginning at the top of the collar. After completing the shaping of the raglan yoke, you put the sleeve stitches on hold and continue knitting the body back ad forth in one piece. Worked like a cardigan in the round, the pullover is virtually seamless, aside from the center reverse-seam and the grafting of the underarms. The hems are turned and sewn down to create a more sophisticated, elegant and professional appearance. Shown in Comfy Pomegranate.
