A white teddy bear is still a teddy bear—but knitted Peabey the Polar Bear is the real thing! From his long snout and neck to his adorably pigeon-toed paws and round rump, Peabey looks like he just lumbered down from the Arctic Circle. Worked from the tail forward in simple stockinette, Peabey requires no seaming and minimal finishing, just a few stitches of embroidery for his cute face and feet.

Sport weight yarn is used for the small bear; worsted weight yarn is used for the large bear. Aloft is held with either yarn to make the bear fuzzy.
