This started out as a Patchwork Girl's sock (Wizard of Oz reference). But "everyone" said it looked like a men's sock. And, in fact, it did. It also looked a lot like an Argyle – thus the name. The Argyle effect is created by use of left and right twists for the diagonals and several diamonds. The other diamonds are in purl.

Color used in the sample is no longer available; we have made a similar color suggestion in the yarn calculator below.
Needles: Size 1 (2.25mm): DPNs or circular
