This sock design is pleasing to knit, and, because the entire sole of the foot is knitted in one piece, it can be replaced when necessary without disturbing the instep, which never seems to wear out. Elizabeth fondly refers to them as “Retreads”. Shown in Swish Worsted Jade (MC) and Truffle (CC).
