Directions for this project in Knitted Lace of Estonia. This shawl was inspired by the beautiful triangular shawls being made in Haapsalu today. Nancy Bush was intrigued by their construction and bought several to study and decipher. In addition, she found a number of traditional motifs and some helpful clues to their “secrets.” The original shawls are larger, but this smaller size is preferable for wearing with a coat or jacket. Shown in Palette Iris Heather.
Needles: Size 6: 32: circular and (2) dpns
