Fair Isle sweaters were at the peak of popularity during the 1920s, after the Prince of Wales became a fan of these traditional garments from the Shetland Islands. Masquerade has a vintage style, reminiscent of the 1920s but still wearable today. Large Fair Isle motifs dissipate into smaller peeries as you knit from the hem toward the shoulders.
