Directions for this project in The Best of Interweave Knits. The idea for this fitted sweater came to Veronik Avery while her husband, an actor, was playing a "voyageur" (a fur trader who traveled by canoe through the Canadian wilderness in the early 1800s). The arrowhead pattern on the Indian belts typically worn by voyageurs were the inspiration for the simple pullover pattern. The pattern twists the stitches in the tilting lines to make them more distinct and allows the arrowheads to form soft points at the neck and sleeve edges. For meticulously neat hems, Veronik chose to use a tubular cast-on and a sewn bind-off. Shown in Swish DK Storm.
