Directions for this project inA Gathering of Lace. Whether you are timid about knitting something large for your first lace project or a lace knitter looking for a small travel project, this pair of socks fits the bill. You will learn the Eastern European cast-on, which is an ideal way to start a circular shawl as well. Knitting with two circulars is useful for very large circumferences where stitches are crowded on one circular, as well as for small circumferences such as socks or gloves. Choose one of three options for the toe shaping, make short row soles and heels, and make a snug fitting rib behind the decorative lace cuff. Shown in Essential Cocoa (MC) and Fawn (CC).

Needles: Size 0: two 24" circulars (for medium socks)
Size 1: two 24" circulars (for large socks)
