This slender triangular shawl is designed to evoke images of a bird in flight. Front post
crochet stitches form ridges that represent the shafts of the feathers and scallops along the
trailing edge form the soft tips. The shawl is worked from the neck edge down in
continually decreasing rows. The neck edge is then finished with a reverse single crochet
border.
