These delicate mitts work up quickly and make
excellent use of leftover bits of sock yarn. The lace pattern looks
intricate but is only 4 rows long and is easily memorized.
The ribbing on the underside makes the mitt exceptionally stretchy. Gauge and Sizing: When made in light sock yarn, these mitts have a relaxed circumference of 5 inches and stretch to more than 10 inches. Because they are so stretchy, exact gauge isn't important. Instead of worrying about gauge, I recommend using a ndl 2 sizes larger than you would if you were making socks from the yarn.
