This long, narrow scarf is versatile enough to be worn on a chilly day or a cool, summer evening. A simple diamond lace design travels the length of the scarf and is accented by a small, eyelet border that tapers off to a point on either end. Using simple increases and decreases that are worked throughout the design, this easy to memorize pattern is a great introduction to charts and lace knitting. The patterns also includes simple instructions to make the tassels. The pattern uses charts for the lace work portions of the pattern.
