This hot water bottle cover is knit much like a sweater knit in the round. The bottom is cast on using an invisible, or provisional, cast-on so that you can pick up the stitches later to make the button flap. The decreases are made at the “shoulders” of the cover until you reach the “neck”. The body of the cover is knit in the round and as you decrease for the “neck” you will need to decide what method you want to use for that small circumference – double pointed needles, two 24” circular needles, or Magic Loop. Shown in Cadena Mahogany.
Notions: (4) 7/8" buttons

Needles: Size 10: (2) 24" circulars
