Directions for this project in Simple Style. This Chanel-inspired jacket goes back to the basics embracing the simple garter stitch. The back and sleeves are worked from the bottom up in the usual manner, but the fronts are worked sideways from the scalloped lace pattern to the side seams, with the neck and armholes shaped along the way. The edging on the neck and hem looks like i-cord but is much easier to work—simply pick up stitches, knit a row, then bind off. Shown in CotLin Surf.
