This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down, with cap sleeves and embellished yoke and body. The yoke is embellished by a progressively larger garter stripe band while three lace bands adorn the body. It is both flattering and very feminine, suitable for to dress up summer dresses or wear as a shoulder warmer over jeans when fall finally comes. This is a project suitable for first time lace knitters, as there are both written and charted instructions for the lace and the lace is restricted to three panels delimited with markers and worked only on the RS of the garment.
