This is a traditional triangular shawl, worked from the center out in a pattern that resembles large and small flames. It was inspired by Mary Chapin Carpenters song A Keeper for Every Flame.
The lace pattern is both charted and written. The different shawl sizes are created by working extra repeats of one portion of the lace pattern.
