Directions for this project in Knitting Lingerie Style. Fishnet stockings, once thought to be quite scandalous, can be a wardrobe staple in today's fashion climate. Worked in worsted weight yarn with a traditional diamond-shaped mesh pattern, they can be paired with walking shorts and loafers or skirts and boots. The shaping in the shaft of the stocking is handled by switching to a larger needle size at the point of the calf rather than adding stitches; the circumference is enlarged without interfering with the mesh stitchwork. Shown in Comfy Planetarium.
Needles: Sizes 3 and 6: dpns, set of 5
