Start with a very easy and quick to knit felted hat. Pump it up with a ribbed, cabled or lace brim. Add the brim with Swish Worsted before felting, or use any yarn by adding it after felting. Knit the brim from the hat down, or from the cast on up! Or, add a removable headband for an interesting finish -- make several in different colors for a quick change of looks! Use “special” yarn – you will love the shine of the Andean Silk, the unexpected sturdiness of the Gloss HW, and the amazing texture of the City Tweed. Or, use hardwearing Peruvian wool. It’s a very fast knit project, and makes a great gift!
