The name for this shawl was conceived before it was even knit! As I was showing my swatches to my husband, I commented on how the pattern reminded me of a potbelly or wood burning stove with plumes of smoke rising out. His reply? Why not name it En Fuego Shawl.
This is a top down half square shawl with both chart and written directions.
Photos and yarn calculator show the fingering weight version but there is a laceweight version included in the pattern as well. You will need 700-750 yards of laceweight and a size 4 (3.5mm) needle for the lace shawl measuring 66" x 31"
