Garter stitch ridges worked in Fibonacci stripes make an easy-to-wear, fun-to-knit poncho you can wear two ways: with the Vee at back and front,or as a bateau neck. In fact, you can really wear it four ways because on the reverse side of the fabric the purl bumps show up as rows of neat little dots.Check out all the fun ways in the alternate views photos.
Assembly is easy. The two panels are joined by sewing one end of each panel to half the side edge of the other. You don?t even have to weave in the ends ? just knot them into little tassels!
Knitting with larger-than-usual needles for the yarn makes a soft fabric with a springy feel that drapes wonderfully.
