5 out of 5 stars

My sister and I both decided to knit this cardigan helping each other as neither of us had used a chart pattern before. We had such great fun knitting this. We decided not to add the medallion to the back and I am glad that we did as it looks so smart without it. The cardigan is a snug, but perfect fit. I highly recommend this pattern.

I got chills of excitement when I first saw this sweater. It is a complete joy to make and looks absolutely amazing with dark yarn (I used Aurora Heather Wool of the Andes Superwash). I love the smaller cable pattern and how it is cleverly used throughout the design. However, I highly recommend NOT including the medallion on the back. With its raised purled stitches, it makes me look like Quasimodo and detracts from the other beautiful cables. I plan on unraveling that part and replacing it with stockinette. Other than that, enjoy this wonderful pattern.
