This Bolero-type raglan shrug is designed for when you wantsomething to cover your arms and the back of your neck but don't want anything too heavy. Lace trim adds to its lightness.
It's worked from the top down and reaches just past the waist. A three-inch wide lace edging is added last. The lace edging may be worn folded over if desired.
The shrug also has a lace diamond design on roomy sleeves to complement the edging.

I finally gave up on this pattern after starting over a half dozen times. There were errors throughout which didn't help the already poorly written pattern. I'm a solid intermediate knitter that can usually figure things out, but not this one. I ended up using a different pattern for my project. I also Googled and emailed and received absolutly no help, I do not recomend this pattern.

I had the same problem with this sweater when it first came out. I reported the issue but they don't seem to care about getting the mistakes fixed. I am an experienced knitter and was so frustrated I had to put it away. I'm going to knit this one but first will have to go over the pattern and fix everything first.

Nice pattern once I figured it out - but the directions are pretty clumsy. Also, there are some errors that confuse the matter - e.g., extra k instructions, idenifying the odd rows as knit when they should be purl, and perhaps others - I've invested a lot of time alreaady . . . so will keep going. is there somewhere where all the mistakes are listed so can be known in advance ? Thanks, RJM

I'm only 40 rows in and I have found 3 major mistakes in the pattern. the lace diamond row 2 is done in purl not knit, row 1 in size L needs 7 repeats to equal the correct number of stitches, and row 9 had k1 written twice where only one was needed.
