Directions for this project inFolk Socks. Traveling stitches have been used to decorate stockings from Bavaria, Tyrol, Alsace and Norway. This sock takes elements from a number of stockings, beginning the traveling stitches several rounds below the ribbing. There is also a decorative seam running down the back of the leg, a Half-Handkerchief heel and a Wedge toe. Shown in Essential Grass.
