The Butterfly Scarflet was inspired by memories of watching the slow transformation of homely caterpillars to beautiful butterflies. The scarf incorporates an airy, yet simple pattern repeat with a butterfly relief at either end and is suitable for knitters looking incorporate chart reading into their knitting. Knit in two parts, a three needle bind off is used to join the pieces together.
