This motif is from the Bjarbo area of Sweden and dates back to the
eighteenth century. It is traditionally worked in red and blue on a cream
background. The overall motif resembles abstract flowers. Knit into a
simple rolled brim hat, it is a simple motif, but complicated enough to keep
your interest.
