Vermont is a great place to be a knitter because winters in Vermont get very cold. These felted mittens were made to hold up to any winter abuse. The stranded color work adds thickness to these mittens and it all felts together wonderfully so there are no strands to get tangled in your fingers. The cuff is knit on after felting. It keeps the snow out and can be tucked inside your coat sleeves for toasty warm wrists.
