The easy-to-wear and flattering A-line shape of Abby’s Jacket is created by decreasing some of the stitches in the lower ridge sections and turning the remaining ones into simple right twists. The cables continue upward in becoming vertical lines.
The pretty cuffs on the sleeves are formed with right twists between cables. Releasing them into ridges adds fullness to the sleeves.
The edges are worked as you go so there is very little finishing. Join the shoulders and sleeves with 3-needle bind off; add the neck edging and you’re done!
