By using separating zippers you can transform this Cape into a fitted Jacket in the matter of seconds! The weight of this yarn is light but it is warm and shows off the stitch definition really well. The construction is worked side to side - working the top cabled section and the body at the same time. There isn't any other sewing involved except for a simple running stitch for the zippers. There are a lot of pictures in the pattern to help you through each step. Once you get started it will work up quickly. You are knitting this project once as the cape but will get 2 garments for your knitting time, yeah! This is worth the try and you don't have to use the colors I did - Mix it up and really make it your own. Sidenote: It's also a great maternity piece to have in your wardrobe - In the pictures I was seven months pregnant and very comfy.
