I ordered a set of the Rainbow crochet hooks a little over a month ago and they have quickly become my favorite hooks. PLEASE, please, please make these in a Tunisian set! I love my regular Rainbows so I know I'd love a Tunisian set just as much.

I feel terrible saying it, but I really, really dislike these hooks. They're beautiful to look at and a lovely staple in my collection because of it. The problem with these hooks is that the head is far too round and is terrible for getting into stitches. It doesn't matter if you're a tight or loose crocheter, I have issues with all of these hooks and find that the lack of a sharp head really causes problem. Claire's assessment of the hook being able to get tangled in the plys is accurate. The other issue I have is that the flat thumb grip causes my fingers to hurt and my wrist to ache. It's in an awkward spot and is not designed well for the natural curve of fingers. If you're a crocheter that tends to have pain when using hooks, avoid these hooks and go for something with a better thumb rest and sharper head instead.

I love mine! The head is shaped differently, more pointy than I'm used to but I like it!

After years of crocheting, I switched back to knitting. Some of my projects required a crocheted flower to finish it off. I had already fallen in love with the Caspian knitting needles and decided to order a crochet hook. I am thrilled with with it. It fits my hand comfortably, is strong and beautiful. The best part--the end tip is designed so that I can catch my yarn better-even when I'm working with two strands. In the past, I kept losing my stitch and was forced to re-crochet the same stitch, thus slowing me down. I think I might take up more crochet projects now. I'm definitely ordering more hooks today. Thank you for making such a great product.

I agree with the previous review that the shape of the hook head is a bit off. The way it is shaped allows it to pick the yarn and get tangled in the plys if you try and work at a fast tempo. Also, that flat spot causes bruising on my thumb due to the corner of it. And all the hooks were very sturdy, except for the 3.5mm hook. The first time I used it, the hook snapped off at the throat! I was a little disappointed with the fragility of the smallest hook, though the others are perfectly strong.

I received every crochet hook size in this harmony wood KP makes as a gift, but had to return them all. There is an intentional flat spot with edges on the handle where your thumb goes, but the edges of that area hurt my thumb because of the way I roll the hook. Suggested improvement, make them round all the way around. Also, the heads are not pointed enough. Can't crochet very fast. Need new shape! I love KP and I love the Harmony wood, these just need a tweak!
