"I just received my new Harmony Wood Needle tips and cables. I had read on several sites how nice these needles were.  They didn't exaggerate at all. I have used aluminum, plastic and bamboo needles.  Until today,  I always preferred the bamboo needles.  Today, I am a convert to Harmony Wood needles.  The wood feels fabulous to hold.  The yarn moves along easily.  And they are so lovely and colorful.  I can't wait to replace my others with more Harmony. I am already 1/2 way finished with a new hat since opening the package. Thank you for a great product" Cheryl L., Knit Picks Customer

"I absolutely LOVE your Harmony needles.  The sharp points make them perfect for lace projects.  The texture – ‘feel’ of the needles is great – unlike any other wood needle I have used and us knitters are all about ‘feel’.  Colors are great – another sensory addition to knitting.  Thank you for this fine product." I have found the 4" double points to be the perfect length for knitting gloves & mittens. They are just the right length for knitting the individual fingers. With the longer needles I was always having issues with them getting in the way of each other when I was working on the fingers.

Really nice little needles but the thinnest ones do feel a bit bendy for my tight knitting and my flick style doesn't match well with the very short needles--I keep poking myself in the palms--so they're going back.

I have had this set since Dec. 2014 and I love them. I've knit 9 christmas balls, many pairs of socks, hats, wristlets and more on my needles. I am very gentle with them, I always put them in a case when I'm not knitting with them. I also do not bend them or mistreat them. They are soft and warm and I could knit forever with them. I have pain in my hands when I use metal needles, but these give me no pain. Plus they're shorter at 5'' so its so much easier to knit. Love them.

I'm going to throw this out there. I've been knitting for a long time ladies. These are by far the most beautiful needles I've ever knitted with. I purchased a pair of 2.0mm needles from KnitPicks last year, and my FIRST one just broke. They are fragile needles. You can not put a lot of weight on them no matter what company makes them. That is just the nature of the beast. I am not hesitating to purchase another set - this time a huge set!!! - of the same exact needles. I love them. You'll love them. Just don't be a beast.

They are pretty, but I've already broken one needle - after only ten garter stitch rounds of 74 stitches each. It's the 2.00mm size that broke. Maybe wood is not the best material for such a skinny needle.

I bought these as a small investment to sock knitting. They look beautiful, appear sturdy, are decently sharp. However, after using a set for a sock recently, they broke. I can only recall using that size one other time. I am really disappointed that I only managed to get one pair of socks out of a set of needles. I should probably mention that I've never had a needle break on me ever.
