This cap is inspired by the Andean Chullo (pronounced tchoo-yo), a traditional garment knit by Andean men, women and children. Knit in Palette yarn, the hat is knit from the earflaps-up, with applied I-cord and tassels to finish. This is a “choose your own adventure” style design; simply plug in the charted design of your choice when the pattern calls for it to make your own unique hat.
Finished Size: 20-21" circumference.
"Hi, Just wanted you to know how pleased I was with the Chullo Hat kit I purchased. It was certainly well worth the wait! The directions are clear and concise, and the yarn is a pleasure to work with. Because the pattern only calls for working with two colors at a time, the individual patterns are easy to work. Not only was I able to knit the beautiful hat as pictured, but I am now working on a THIRD hat from the leftover yarn! It looks like I may even be able to squeeze out a fourth if I get creative. Thanks for offering such great quality products at such a reasonable price. I'll continue to be a repeat customer!" Susan McBrine, Knit Picks Customer
