The pattern directions for Lydia's Lily Pad should read:
Directions
Cast on 8 stitches using a circular cast on.  Place marker and join in the round taking care not to twist stitches.
Row 1: *yo, k1* eight times. 16 sts.
Row 2: knit all stitches
Work Chart
Work all rows as: *Work chart, K1* eight times.
All rows are read from right to left. Switch from DPNs to circular needles as needed.
Finishing
Bind off loosely.  Weave in ends, wash and block to finished measurements. 
All other information (gauge, needles, finished measurements, circular cast on instructions, the chart) is correct.
