What are cookies?
Remember the good old days when all you needed to know about cookies was whether you preferred oatmeal raisin or chocolate chip? Times have changed, good friend. Nowadays a cookie is also a small data file that web sites store on your computer's hard drive when you visit them.
Cookies throughout the Internet MAY contain information (such as a unique user ID) that is used to track the pages of the site you've visited and improve your overall user experience. Knit Picks does not store ANY personally identifiable information in cookies — so you don't need to worry about our cookies.
What if I don't want you to track my site usage?
How to delete my Cookies?
Sometimes it is necessary for the proper communication of your browser and our server to delete your cookies. This will cause your browser to "start from scratch" and allow your session to run smoothly.
These steps will delete any items in your shopping cart and 'Save for Later', so print out your cart or write down the items in it so you have a record of them later. If you are using Internet Explorer as your browser, follow these easy steps:
- In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- On the General tab, click Settings, and then click View files.
- Select the cookie you want to delete, and then, on the File menu, click Delete.
- To delete all of the cookies on your computer, click Delete Cookies on the General tab.
If you use another browser besides Internet Explorer, click on HELP and type "delete cookies." It should bring up the instructions on how to delete the little buggers.
What about enabling Cookies?
