Bare Wool of the Andes Worsted Yarn

$4.19 100g / hank

High quality worsted weight yarn that is perfect for hand dyeing. Cream colored straight off the sheep (well - washed, carded, spun and plied, of course) and very soft with the cushiony feel of handspun. This yarn also felts very well because it has not been bleached. Mix your hand-dyed creations with any of the other Wool of the Andes line.

I bought this yarn to knit a baby blanket. I was worried it would not be soft enough, but I was wrong, it is super soft, and a dream to knit with. I am using it undyed, and it is a beautiful cream color. I would definitely recommend it.

I use this yarn for dyeing. The colors are vivid and take the dye nicely. I enjoy being able to buy different weights of wool, too. The yarn knits-up quite nicely with good stitch definition.
