A beaded sit-on-your-shoulders triangular shawl.
Inspired by the lights blinking out in the city buildings during Hurricane Sandy 2012, this shawl is full of skyscraper window lights (lace and sparkling beads). Partial proceeds from the sale of this pattern go to OccupySandy.org in NYC, NJ and Haiti to help with continuing clean-up and restructuring of people's lives.
Shawl starts at center back of neck and increases 6 sts every other row until the lace portion, then adds 4 sts very other row. If you have not done a neck down shawl before, have a bit of faith as this really does work out fine.
Line by line and charted instructions.
To make the shawl as shown you will also need 1.2 oz/33 g of size 6/0 beads
