I have a slight obsession with all things Eiffel, rabbits, and an enormous respect for the fabulous stranded colourwork, hence I humbly created this nifty mitten pattern using the proportions of the actual Tower, a mini-spring in Paris just for you!
The example shown was knit with 2 colours of fingering weight yarn (Knitpicks Palette in colours, clematis heather and cornmeal 1 skein each), finished size: 22cm x 8.5cm (8.5” x 3.25”) on no. 0 (2.0mm) dpns (7"). The gauge in fingering weight: 16.5sts = 5cm and 19 rows = 5cm, knit in the round from chart. The gauge is important, different yarns give different mittens! If you need to increase the size further, you can increase the needle size, for example no. 1 (2.25mm) (gauge: 16 st x 17 rows).
