- About the Designer
Born and raised on eastern Long Island, NY, Erica grew up surrounded by the arts— performing (playing fiddle, flatfoot dancing, and singing) and traveling around the country with her family band, The Homegrown String Band. During her travels, Erica discovered knitting and crocheting and it wasn't long before the kid who fiddles to a different drummer was accumulating a yarn stash and designing her own projects. In early 2009 Erica established Fiddle Knits Designs and began to focus her energies on designing and creating original patterns inspired by music.
