I am a wife, mother of two and a self-taught knitter who started and stopped many times until my mid 30’s, when something finally clicked. I often wish I had learned to knit earlier in life, and thus I find myself trying to make up for lost time – if I’m sitting, I’m knitting! Having grown up in Colorado, I’m all about the layers and thus addicted to knitting scarves, wraps and mittens. I pride myself on writing patterns that look difficult, but are simply written in such a way that an adventurous beginner can tackle them with great results, because I believe that being able to take on a project that you think might be too difficult, but that results in something beautiful that you feel proud of is the key to wanting to continue to learn and challenge yourself as a knitter.
