Janice Mazidi Patterns
Independent designer Janice Mazidi is a professor and textbook author, currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science. Although she learned to knit as a child, she discovered the stress-relieving power of knitting when her sons were in high school, when she began knitting daily. Janice began designing recently, and considers it a natural stage in the progression of one's knitting skills. There comes a point, she believes, in your knitting when rather than find a yarn to fit a pattern, the knitter lets the yarn lead her to a pattern that may not yet have been written.
