9/6/2011 - Contest is over! We'll contact & announce the winners soon!
I am so excited! One of my all time favorite designers, Anna Hrachovec, has a new book out!
As many folks know, I've been a fan of Anna Hrachovec's cute creatures for a long time now. And for the past year, she's been doing a weekly post of Tiny Things on her blog....and now there's a whole book of her Teeny-Tiny Mochimochi!
This book is so adorable - Anna has such an eye for detail and that's what makes her Tinys so cute. And so creative! There are things like a record player, a volcano and even an island!
My favorites are definetly the animals. Last night, I dug into my stash of Palette (which is perfect for these guys - many of the patterns in the book use it in fact!) and I whipped up a couple of Tinys!
I loved the Tiny Lion so I needed one for myself
He's frolicking among some balls of Palette to give you an idea of scale.
I did a Tiny Chicken too - he looks a bit like an Angry Chicken though!
He's a tough lil' guy.
Each only took an hour to make & were very fun. I had to keep them away from my cat though, who thought they were new toys for her to play with.
So are you as excited for Teeny Tiny Mochimochi as we are? Potter Craft kindly provided us with a few copies of the book to give away so we thought we'd hold another blog contest! And for the grand prize, we decided to sweeten the deal with a rainbow of Palette so you can make tons of Tinys!
For a chance to win the grand prize of a book & Palette selection, or one of 4 runner up prizes of a copy of the book, simply leave a comment on this post! That's it! Since we have a long weekend ahead of us, we're going to leave this open until Tuesday September 6th at 8am and we'll announce the winners soon after. Good luck everyone!
Rules: One entry per person. Must have a US or Canada mailing address. No purchase necessary. All comments must be posted on THIS blog post. Comments on other blog posts will not be valid for this contest.

Sep 5, 2011 at 4:39 AM I've never tried to make anything so small. It would be neat to make some of the mochimochies. They are very cute, very cute indeed. I could hide them about the house and have people over over to see how many they can find. Thank you for sharing about these books. If I don't win, I'll have to look for the books. Too cute to pass up.
