I am the marketing assistant at Knit Picks.I inadvertently learned to knit 5 years ago, because I was washing camping gear at a laundromat across the street from a yarn store. I wandered over to the yarn store while my sleeping bag was drying, and then...well, I caught the knitting bug and I work at Knit Picks now!

I went to college in San Diego, and since I moved to the Pacific Northwest, I've been on a sweater kick because I'm usually freezing. I studied architecture in college, and I especially like the math and structure behind knitted garments. I like all sorts of knitting techniques, but especially unusual garment construction. Since I started working here, I'm learning all sorts of crafts. I also like to crochet, spin, weave, and quilt.
