“Created by needlework enthusiasts for needlework enthusiasts, Knit Picks Chart Keeper will hold you chart and keep track of your progress even when you close it up between uses.” Quick and Easy Crochet, Sept/Oct 08

“I got a chance to use my chart holder and it works very well. The magnets let you mark your row and make it easier to follow, plus it obviously holds it up for you, even on your lap or the couch next to you. There’s a magnetic catch that holds it closed when folded closed, and that holds it open at the angle you see when needed. It was just about $10. Good idea.”  Knit for Brains

"I think I might be even more addicted to lace knitting than to sock knitting (is that even possible?), and the Chart Keeper is my favorite way to keep my lace chart handy. I move the long magnet up one row at a time as I track my progress, always above the row I’m working on so I can see what came before. And, the Chart Keeper folds up and snaps to keep my pattern safe from little fingers when my nieces and nephews come to visit."

For such a simple design, this is absolutely wonderful! I purchased one of these a few years ago for a complex, long-term charted pattern, so needing one more a short while later I picked up another. This really is a fantastic, inexpensive tool, but if I could make one change it would be to include one more of the longer magnets.

This little thing saves the day for doing charted knitting. You always know right where you are. No forgetting. And it stays that way between sessions. Wouldn't want to knit lace without it!

I L.O.V.E. this thing! I don't know how I made it through my charted knits before! It's a simple design, fits into my project bag and goes everywhere with me! Best notion I've purchased in years!

I used up a whole highlighter on my last charted project, so I decided to buy this. So glad I did - it's fantastic quality, and works extremely well!

Love this thing. I used it all the time for lace. I am buying one to send to my sister for Christmas. I'm getting extra magnets, as they tend to go missing!

I'm not sure what made me think this had a pocket for storing other pages. It doesn't, but wouldn't it be great if it did!

I bought this several years ago, even before I got into lace knitting. I use it almost all the time, even for basic, regular patterns as a way to keep track of where I am in the pattern, but for lace (and colorwork) I find it essential. My only complaint is that the magnetic strap comes off on both ends, rather than having one side permanently attached and I've somehow lost it.

Bought this a while ago and use it constantly. I love lace knitting and this is absolutely a life saver for me to keep track of where i am in directions/charts. Love it!

I picked this up in anticipation of getting into lace knitting, figuring it would help me keep my place on the chart. It works very nicely. Closed, it keeps my chart from getting crumpled in my knitting bag. Open, it can be used flat, or with the magnetic-catch strap, can stand up on a table or desk. I expect to get a lot of use out of this!

It works so well I use it a great deal. Sits on my computer by my knitting seat.
