I received this book as a birthday present and it is a beautiful addition to my stitch library! It is everything as described by the Knit Picks review, but I would also add that the book has great ideas and suggestions about what yarns and colors would best compliment the stitches shown. Good information about needles as well. I would recommend it for anyone who loves to knit!

This is a really wonderful book. The author provides both written and charted instructions for each pattern and gives a detailed description of what the finished piece should resemble. She has great suggestions for variations of the stitches and what types of yarn would work well with each. I recommend it as a welcome addition to any stitch library, for beginner or experienced alike.
